The Perfect Buddha is a direct importer of cultured pearls and fine jewelry from China. Owner Kevin Keating combines his love of Chinese culture, history, and art with business to bring the jewels of the Pacific to you at affordable prices.  Keating, an  Alexandria businessman, earned an undergraduate degree in both Chinese history and Chinese language from the United States Military Academy (1982) and most recently graduated with a Master’s in International Public Policy from Johns Hopkins School for Advanced International Studies (SAIS, 2002).  

Keating has been a frequent traveler to South Asia where he has cultivated business relationships with the finest jewelers and pearl growers in China. This direct access enables The Perfect Buddha to offer high quality pearls and other imported jewelry at prices significantly lower than their equivalents would sell for in traditional stores.  

A Gemological Institute of America (GIA) certified gemologist has examined the Perfect Buddha’s inventory, using GIA standard appraisal factors that include color, size, nacre, luster, and shape.  In every instance, The Perfect Buddha jewelry has been appraised for significantly more than our selling price.
